Pride of Australia - Manbulloo Ltd is the largest Kensington Pride conglomerate in Australia.
Manbulloo Ltd
Manbulloo Limited was established in September 2005 when its four partners - investor Sanreef Pty Ltd, investor and marketer Perfection Fresh Australia and shareholders David Wadley and Marie Piccone - purchased and amalgamated three established mango plantations in the Northern Territory and Queensland.
Now the largest Kensington Pride conglomerate in Australia, Manbulloo Limited is strategically placed to guarantee supply to the domestic market from late September to late December. Manbulloo's holdings comprise a total of 750 hectares - 350 hectares near Katherine, Northern Territory and 200 hectares each at Laudham Park and Horseshoe Lagoon, south of Townsville in far north Queensland.
All three plantations were established in the 1970s and 1980s and those in the Northern Territory represent the first substantial plantings developed in that region. One of the five largest mango producers in Australia, Manbulloo produces up to 125,000 trays of Kensington Pride and R2E2 mangoes annually. It also exports Kensington Pride mangoes to Asia, the Middle East and the United Kingdom and R2E2 mangoes to Asia.
Manbulloo, which has experienced extraordinary growth since its restructure, has a five-year vision to rejuvenate all aspects of its operations including infrastructure, harvesting techniques and diversification into other fruit lines.
