Vince Simonetta
Director of Sales
As a schoolboy, Vince earned pocket money helping out at the then Sydney Markets-based business founded by his father, Tony, in the late 1970s. By the time he had earned his Higher School Certificate (HSC), worked his way from labourer to sales team member at the Sydney Markets stand, and completed various training courses focussing on effective speaking, communication and people management at institutions including Monash University - Perfection Fresh had launched into a rapid growth phase.
As the company established national and international commercial associations with growers, independent retailers such as IGA, retail chains such as Woolworths and Coles, and foodservice outlets such as McDonalds, Vince took control of Perfection Fresh's sophisticated warehouse operations.
When the number of proprietary and commodity produce lines marketed by Perfection Fresh topped 75, staff numbers reached 120, and the company's customer portfolio had doubled to exceed 800 in just five years, Vince was appointed Director of Sales. He currently manages a team of more than 20 sales professionals.
Today, Vince's professional portfolio continues to be one of the company's most dynamic.
As Perfection Fresh negotiates its next development phase, Vince will set the company's product mix, define geographical areas of operation, optimise the use of human and other resources, and maximise customer service standards.
A keen sponsor of his local and major NRL Football teams and a regular donor to local schools and charities - Vince names his wife and three children as his proudest personal achievement.
