Lemon - Lisbon

Lisbon variety lemons are Australia's most commonly grown lemon. The variety has a bright yellow, smooth skin. Lisbon variety lemons have a distinctly tangy taste.

Apart from the robust flavours that lemon zest, juice or segments can add to a dish, lemons can be used to stop fruit discolouring, enhance flavours replacing salt, tenderise meat and even cook fish without heat.
