Orange - Valencia
Oranges, one of the citrus family of fruits, are among the oldest of cultivated fruits and are native of southern China and Indochina. Valencia oranges are a popular, sweet orange with few or no pips. They have smooth, thin skins and are ideal for juicing.

Available from September to April.
Serving suggestion
Juicy, round valencia oranges can be peeled and eaten fresh, or added to a variety of sweet or savoury dishes. They are a tangy, refreshing fruit whether eaten fresh, in salads and dessert, or consumed as a juice.
Did you know?
Valencias are especially good to eat when cut into "smiles." Cut fruit in half crosswise, then cut three or four wedges from each half.
