Capsicum - Baby Red
Developed by Japan's creative Sakata Seed Company, baby red capsicums are between 3cm and 4cm deep compared to the typical bell capsicum's average depth of between 10cm and 12cm. These single-serve size fruit are designed to minimise waste.
Seasonality
Available from January to December.
Serving suggestion
Baby red capsicums are great in stir-fries, pizza, kebabs, pasta, casseroles and baked whole with a gourmet stuffing.
Did you know?
Baby red capsicums weigh between 80g and 100g with flesh approximately 6mm thick and a finer skin than its larger cousin.
