Capsicum - Green
Green bell capsicums are picked when ripe and have an all-over green appearance. Left on the bush for another week or two and they will slowly change to a vibrant red. Capsicums, often referred to as "peppers", add flavour and colour to a wide range of dishes. While related to chillies, capsicums are much milder and sweeter tasting.
Seasonality
Available from January to December.
Serving suggestion
Capsicums can be eaten in many ways; the most popular is sliced in stir-fries, stuffed or grilled with their skin removed and marinated in garlic and olive oil.
