Celery
Celery bunches consist of pale green stems with thick, white bases, which are joined at the bottom of the stalks to a crown at ground level. Each of the crisp, U-shaped stems is topped with green, serrated or saw-like edged leaves. Both the stems and leaves can be eaten.
Seasonality

Serving suggestion
Crunchy celery is a tasty addition to any school lunch box and is great as a snack served raw and eaten with dips. Try stuffing celery stalks with peanut butter, cream cheese, mayonnaise, cottage cheese or avocado. Both the stems and the leaves can be juiced, and used to make stock, or dried and used as seasoning.
