Tomato - Truss
Truss tomatoes are ripened on their vine and packaged directly into punnets with the stem still attached. They have bright red skin, juicy flesh and an intense flavour.
Seasonality
Available from January to December.
Serving suggestion
Truss tomatoes can be roasted whole with the stalks left intact for impact and served as a side dish. They can also be used in bruschetta, salads, pasta dishes and casseroles.
