Pearl Mango and Lime Sorbet
Mango and lime are the ideal partners in this easy to prepare sorbet. The perfect palate cleanser.
Makes 2 litres.
Prep Time: 30 minutes.
Preparation Only
Ingredients
- 5-6 large Pearl mangoes (2kg flesh)
- 400ml water
- 500ml sugar
- 200ml lime juice
Preparation Instructions
- Dice Pearl mangoes and place in a small pot.
- Add the sugar and water.
- Bring to a simmer and stir for 10 minutes, ensuring that the sugar is dissolved.
- Place the mixture in a blender, add lime juice while blending.
- Pour mixture into a container and freeze.
