Grape, Mint and Iced Tea

 

A refreshing summer drink that's beautifully easy to prepare - and irresistibly refreshing!  

 

Serves 6-8.
Prep Time: 15 minutes.

 

Preparation Only

 

Ingredients

  • 1L boiling water
  • 3 teabags
  • 1L lemonade
  • 5-6 drops bitters
  • 1/3 cup bruised mint leaves (rub them between fingers to bring out the flavour)
  • 150g halved red grapes (such as Flame or Crimson Seedless)
  • 150g halved white grapes (such as Menindee or Thompson Seedless)

Preparation Instructions

  • Pour boiling water into a large heatproof jug or bowl.
  • Add teabags and refrigerate until cold.
  • When tea is cold, remove the teabags and discard.
  • Combine the tea in a large serving jug with lemonade, bitters and bruised mint leaves, grapes and ice. Serve immediately.
