POM Wonderful Eskimo Kiss
Your taste buds will relish this hot festive drink, and it can be enjoyed by everyone in your family, since it is alcohol-free!
Serves 4.
Prep Time: 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1L freshly squeezed POM Wonderful
- pomegranate juice* or POM Wonderful® 100% Pomegranate Juice
- 1.8L fresh apple cider
- 8 cinnamon sticks
- 6 star anise
- 12 cloves
- 12 allspice berries, cracked
Cooking Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a saucepan. Heat to just under a boil for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and cover. Steep for two hours.
- Strain and serve hot with a cinnamon stick garnish.
* This cocktail can be made with freshly squeezed juice from a POM Wonderful pomegranate or by using POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice. To juice the pomegranate, cut it in half (as you would a grapefruit) and juice using a citrus reamer or a juicer. Pour mixture through a cheesecloth-lined strainer or sieve. One large POM Wonderful pomegranate will produce about 1/2 cup of juice.
