
Warm POM Wonderful Pomegranate Fudge Sauce
This fudge sauce is quick and easy to make.
Makes 1 1/2 cups.
Prep Time: 5 minutes.
Cooking Time: 10 minutes.
Ingredients
- Juice from 1 large POM Wonderful pomegranate*
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla
Cooking Instructions
- Prepare fresh pomegranate juice.*
- In a saucepan, mix together sugar and cocoa.
- In a separate cup with a pouring spout, mix together pomegranate juice and heavy cream.
- The mixture will be thick and look like sour cream.
- Add cream-pomegranate mixture to the cocoa-sugar mixture in the saucepan.
- Mix together to completely moisten and stir with a spoon until smooth.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in vanilla.
- Serve warm or cold.
*For 1 cup of juice, cut 2-3 large POM Wonderful pomegranates in half and juice them with a citrus reamer or juicer. Pour the mixture through a cheesecloth-lined strainer or sieve. Set the juice aside.
