What are Kumato® Tomatoes

Kumato® is a unique variety of tomato that is extremely sweet and has a strong distinctive taste that changes as the tomato colour ripens from green to brown to dark red.

Kumato® Tomatoes are super versatile with different ideal usages at each stage - this is how they can be used at it's three ripening stages:

🍅 Green – firm, flavourful and slices beautifully. Perfect for salads and sandwiches.

🍅 Brown with hints of green - dubbed its ideal eating stage with a more robust flavour. Ideal for stuffing, pan roasting, sauces, chutneys and soups.

🍅Deep brown and dark red – soft, juicy and a mild flavour. Best for cooking.

  1. Kumato® chilli jam - use on sandwiches, pizzas, a ploughman's lunch, or serve in a bowl on a cheese board or antipasto plate.
