How to Store Mix-a-Mato® Tomatoes?

Mix-a-Mato® tomatoes are picked ripe and ready to enjoy. Leave in their packaging at room temperature for 3-4 days or place fruit bowl and store at room temperature. Don't store Mix-a-Mato® tomatoes in the fridge as that will impact their flavour.

Tomatoes during peak season 

There are so many different ways to enjoy Mix-a-Mato® tomatoes during their peak season.

 - Fresh: Use them raw in a layeredMix-a-Mato® salad. They can be used whole, sliced in half, or chopped in quarters. 

- Roast: Mix-a-Mato® tomatoes are delicious when they are roasted. Add some fresh herbs such as oregano, season with salt and pepper, or your favourite seasonings. Drizzle with olive oil and then roast in an oven till they are caramelised. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar. 

- Marinate: Marinate Mix-a-Mato® tomatoes in your favourite dressing to add a subtle hint of flavour that tastes delicious when added in salads or served as a side. Here we have used marinated Mix-a-Mato® tomatoes in a loaded margarita guacamole dip which tastes scrumptious with corn chips. 

- Barbeque: Place Mix-a-Mato® tomatoes on skewers and barbeque till charred. Pair them with Haloumi cheese to make these Mix-a-Mato® tomatoes and Haloumi skewers. 

- Saute: These tiny and tasty tomatoes are delicious sautéed. Just add them to a frying pan with butter, oil and chili flakes. Sauté until lightly blistered, and then serve with your favourite protein. Grilled sirloin steak, or a juicy chicken breast, or roasted vegetables.
