Renewable energy
Using energy more efficiently (less) and opting for renewable energy sources is essential for combating climate change and lowering Perfection Fresh’s overall environmental footprint.
Saving and harvesting water
Water management is critical for continued productivity, and water harvesting for irrigation supports our efficient agriculture.
Target emissions
With our inaugural Climate Transition Plan being finalised in 2024, we’re continuing to accelerate our journey towards sustainability. Our near-term objective is to deliver a 42% reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions (including biogenic CO2) by FY2030 from our FY2023 baseline, aligning with SBTi guidelines.
Biodiversity
Perfection Fresh practices responsible management of pests, weeds, diseases and agricultural inputs. Pesticides include herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, nematicides, and rodenticides and can safely be used in crop production to control weeds and other pests.
Farm management
Effective biosecurity practices require a comprehensive and coordinated approach across the entire supply chain, from our own farms and suppliers to our customers and consumers. Perfection Fresh biosecurity measures include monitoring and managing water sources, controlling pests and ensuring proper cleaning and sanitisation of equipment and facilities.
