Renewable energy
Using energy more efficiently (less) and opting for renewable energy sources is essential for combating climate change and lowering Perfection Fresh’s overall environmental footprint.
Saving and harvesting water
Water management is critical for continued productivity, and water harvesting for irrigation supports our efficient agriculture.
Target emissions
Perfection Fresh follows the climate-related financial reporting guideline outlined by Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), which aims to improve the transparency and reliability of climate-related financial information. Working towards a comprehensive TCFD roadmap, Perfection Fresh will target net zero emissions by 2050 and a 25% decrease in Scope 1 (direct) and 2 (indirect) emissions by 2030.
Biodiversity
Perfection Fresh practices responsible management of pests, weeds, diseases and agricultural inputs. Pesticides include herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, nematicides, and rodenticides and can be used in crop production to control weeds and other pests.
Farm management
Effective biosecurity practices require a comprehensive and coordinated approach across the entire supply chain, from our own farms and suppliers to our customers and consumers. Perfection Fresh biosecurity measures include monitoring and managing water sources, controlling pests and ensuring proper cleaning and sanitisation of equipment and facilities.
